He was purchased by the Blunts from Seyyid Mohammed Fathi in December 1898 and exported from Sheykh Obeyd to Crabbet in 1904. After the partition of the stud in 1906, he was retained by Lady Anne Blunt. His most important sons were probably Ibn Yashmak and Rasim. He reportedly only stood 13.3 hands. He won many prizes in the showring and was put down in 1917.
