He was purchased by Sir James Penn Boucaut for his Quambi Stud and exported to South Australia in 1891. On the dispersal of Quambi Springs in 1908, he was purchased by Samuel Winter-Cooke for his stud in Victoria for 50 guineas. The first foal of his dam, he is widely acknowledged to be the foundation sire of Australian Arabian horse breeding, siring 18 registered arabian foals and many part-bred stock.
