She is the only dog I’ve ever owned all in my own. We had dogs growing up but she was truly mine. When she passed, it was earth shattering and I’ve never wanted another since. They are intelligent and loyal with lots of independent personality.
This is a highly loyal breed and superb sentries. They do need lots of space to roam and needed to feel useful. Until mine loved on our farm, she lived in our house in town and almost tore it to pieces once. They are certainly smart enough to outsmart their owners so I would advise having the right setting for them and being aware they will at times give you a run for your money!
