Animals aren’t just a passion — they’re family. Like a billion others, we feel that deep bond, and is why we poured everything we have into building the best possible place for them we could. At its heart, The Best In Show is where we honor those animals: celebrating their lives, sharing their stories, remembering them when they’re gone, and connecting with other pet parents who feel the same pride and joy. It’s about coming together in one place so those connections are easier and richer. But that’s only part of it. The bigger mission is making sure every animal finds a loving home where their people aren’t just willing to have them — they’re truly thrilled. Whether it’s helping a stray, supporting adoption, offering medical or wellness resources, sharing breed history, or real-life knowledge from fellow owners, we want it all in one welcoming space. I own Arabian horses and always want to know others who do as well. I had a German Shepherd and, let me tell you, she was a handful. I was desperate to find someone who could give me advice before she turned my house to rubble (I'm only slightly exaggerating). When I moved to a farm, I was given a mixed-breed mutt, sweetest fella ever, but would not leave my side. Nothing I knew would give him the confidence to be on his own. I could certainly have used input from someone who'd experienced the same. Again and again I've wrestled with finding the help or advice I needed without having to pay an expensive professional every time. Most often, we just need to learn from people who’ve been there because the best lessons don’t come from a thousand scattered websites — or trying to guess - they come from real experience shared by people who genuinely care. There are over a billion animal-related sites out there. They're doing what they can to create community, but they're too fractured. Bottom line, if you own an animal, you own a pet, no matter what kind that is. They aren't that different. So simply put, fragmentation hurts the very animals we love and we're convinced that animal lovers, whether they're into horses, dogs, exotics, or anything in between, belong in one community. When we unite, we give our animals the best chance at happy, healthy lives…and hopefully secure their futures no matter what's going on around us. That’s what The Best In Show is genuinely about: turning our shared love into meaningful action, together.
