Exported to Australia in 1925. Mr A.E. Grace of Bowral and later Denman, NSW, purchased the famed English endurance stallion. Shahzada’s Australian family is enormous. Over 4O% of the horses entered in Volume One of “The Australasian Arab Horse Stud Book” are Shahzada descendants. When the First World War ended, there was a resurgence of interest in Arabian horses. Thousands of horses from Australia had been used in the war effort. Some of the old Studs had disappeared. New Studs emerged.

Shahzada became a noted showhorse, winning eight Championships at Sydney Royal from 1926 to 1933
