About Dartfish
The dartfishes were formerly classified as the subfamily Ptereleotrinae of the wormfishes, Microdesmidae, but this classification made Microdesmidae polyphyletic, hence the elevation to a family within the suborder Gobioidei http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dartfish
