There are two easy ways to add photos:

• From an animal's profile - use the upload button on its Photos tab. The photo is tagged with that animal automatically.
• From the photo gallery - use the upload page and tag it afterwards.

On the free Hobbyist plan a storefront can upload up to 50 photos; Pro and Team have no limit. See Plans & Billing.

Tags connect a photo to the animals and storefronts in it. A tagged photo appears on the animal's Photos tab and on the storefront's page, so tagging is how photos find their audience.

1. Open the photo's page.
2. Click Add tag and search for the animal or storefront.
3. Select it - the tag is added right away.

When you tag another storefront's animal (or the storefront itself), its members are notified. Tags can be removed from either side - by whoever manages the photo, or by whoever manages the tagged animal or storefront.

The photo gallery shows recent photos from across the site - scroll and more load automatically. Every photo also has its own page showing who's tagged in it.

Signed-in users can save photos they like - see Search & Discovery.

Any photo an animal is tagged in can become that animal's profile photo or cover photo. Set it from the animal's own page: hover the profile or cover image, choose Change profile photo or Change cover, pick the shot from the gallery, and adjust the crop. Reposition in the same menu re-crops the photo already chosen. It's the easiest way to put your best show shots front and center.

You can delete any photo your storefront uploaded from the photo's page. Deleting is permanent and removes the photo everywhere it appeared. Deleted photos free up room under your plan's photo limit.
